As regular readers know, I am a member of Restoration Farm CSA. This month you can read my article about the farm, On Good Land: Restoration Farm, in Edible East End magazine, either by clicking here, or by picking up a copy if you live in Eastern Long Island.
It’s a gorgeous magazine – Edible Communities family of magazines just won a James Beard Award for Publication of The Year 2011 — so I am quite pleased to be a part of what they do. If you do go and have a look, please comment on the article, as I believe that will encourage the publisher to continue recognizing and supporting good food efforts in my overpopulated part of NY!
Great piece! A perfect slice of life at Restoration Farm!
Congratulations on another published article…I enjoyed reading it. I have caught up on all your posts that I have missed. Why is it that Latin rice is so much better? When we lived in Miami I used to go to a Latin grocery store for their rice. It was always perfectly cooked.
Thanks Karen! Following your trip was wonderful! So many good memories of Trentino-Alto Adige….Latin rice IS delicious…and pretty simple….Welcome Back!
That’s great!
Thanks! I am very pleased when I get to publish in a magazine that I truly love!
Natalia, Lulu brought a bunch of the magazines to Restoration for us so I just read your article. You really captured the spirit of Restoration Farm. I only wanted to read more.
Thanks,
Steven
You were a big part of it, Steve! You even made it into the picture….
That is awesome.. I shall go over and have a look is it an online mag?
It is a print publication with an additional website…truly beautiful stuff and fun activities. Thanks for your support and interest!
